The Root of All Evil

Dear “Root of All Evil” Fans;

I apologize that I have been so tardy in getting more of my thoughts out to you, but we have been very busy moving all of my stuff into my new digs. It’s been a very long and sometimes very frustrating experience, but now I am all moved in. However, I have no Internet until Saturday, sometime between 8am and 5pm (thanks Charter). There’s a very strong wireless signal near me operated by Tabitha, but that bitch has it on security lock so I’m stuck wondering down to the local Corner Bakery to grab an hour of time whenever I can.

Allow me to let you in on something you might not know: MOVING SUCKS! My kids and friends get all my crap into boxes and I hire a moving company who tells me that the move will cost me $400 at the most. I’m moved three blacks away. Now I’m excited, ’cause I’ve always had to move myself before, which really sucks. The foreman and his two guys show up and tell me, “This is a big job”. Big job, my ass! We packed everything, you just gotta move it three blocks. Then he continues to explain to me that the job will cost $860 . . . and I toss his ass out the door. $860!

So I drove down to  the local lumber yard and for $400 bucks got 4 Mexican day workers AND a truck. They moved everything in three hours and all I lost was two broken plates. God bless Mexican day workers!

Anyway, I’ll try to get back into my rhythm after this coming Saturday.  Until then, blame everything on me. Why the hell not? Everyone else does.
